Twitter recently forbade the Russian Kasperky Labs, to advertise on the short message network. Why this is the case, even Kaspersky does not understand. Therefore, the company asked Twitter for clarification in an open letter. Kaspersky demands transparency to help other companies in a case like this. US media assumes that the ban was issued because of Kaspersky’s close relationship to the Russian government and that their software might be used for espionage. The company contradicts these accusations and is even initiating legal actions. Twitter did not make any comments regarding the incident.
